My strong roots have supported me for approximately 300 years. I have observed many things over the centuries. I look over the land, taking care of the ecosystem and listening to the wisdom the wind whispers through my branches. Sometimes I, the White Spruce, get lonely here on the shady, isolated hillside because not much can grow due to the acidic nature of the soil.
